The aim of the project was to design a pop-up cafe for the annual Sydney Festival at Carriageworks, Redfern. The design also features an interactive tunnel area, which features as a secondary function as part of the entryway to the main cafe space.

A key feature of this project is the consideration of sustainability, as the cafe's design proposes the use of recycled textile bricks for the main structure, and recycled plastic and timber for furniture and decor. Reminiscent of a bright summer’s day by the pool, the contrasting colour scheme enhances the materials selected to create an energising and dynamic space.
